Weekly and TravelAge West choose top travel professionals to
participate in inaugural Global Travel Marketplace West 2014
event
- Travel Weekly and TravelAge West are proud to announce that
David Holman of Bridges & Holman Worldwide Travel was selected
from among hundreds of applicants to attend the inaugural Global
Travel Marketplace West (GTM West) which took place at the Westin La
Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, Arizona, May 2-4, 2014. GTM West is
a 3-day appointment-only event for travel agents and suppliers
seeking to conduct business face-to-face.
Out
of the 443 applications received, 76 North American travel agents
were selected to participate. Eighty suppliers
engaged with travel agents though a variety of one-on-one
prescheduled meetings, exclusive boardrooms and networking events.
More
than 9,000 appointments were requested, 4,013 face-to-face meetings
were conducted and 81 boardroom presentation sessions were hosted
during the 3-day event.

very intense and very rewarding experience” said Mr. Holman, at the
conclusion of the event. “It is the perfect event for building and
maintaining supplier relationships.”
